- Hazardous Substance Free Policy(HSF Policy):
- The green product management enforces virtually worldwide electrical products to meet hazardous substance free regulations. More and more brand name companies request supply chains to meet RoHS, REACH, and Halogen free requirement from raw material to finished goods, in order to meet the requests from customers and regulations. Weida Hi-Tech keeps updating HSF working instruction and asking supplier chains’ cooperation.
- Conflict Minerals:
- As a good corporate citizen, Weida Hi-Tech acts it’s social responsibility, respects the human right, pays attention to conflict minerals from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and countries that share its border (“the DRC region”) controlled by armed groups.
- Requests suppliers to survey the specific metals used in their product to avoid conflict minerals. Suppliers shall inform Weida Hi-Tech once they found any conflict mineral in products.
- Requests suppliers to inform this requirement to their upstream suppliers.
